One person who wants it.
They show two friends.
A few come back without being asked.
Enough that it feels alive when you arrive.

How one user becomes an audience.
You built it. Now people have to find it, watch it and come back. I co-founded a live-streaming platform with 300k+ monthly users and led it as CTO from the first commit to its acquisition in 2024.
The live-streaming platform
A room people want to be in
On the live-streaming platform, creators went live and viewers joined a room around them to chat, react and send gifts. The social layer around the video mattered as much as the video.
- 300k+ monthly users
- A room could go from quiet to crowded the moment a popular creator went live
- 6 years as CTO
- Acquired by an international group in 2024
How they get there
A channel that brings people in
Wellness platform, founding engineer
The platform runs its own brand channel with its own subscription, as the marketing engine for everything else. It drives discovery and sends members on to individual creators, so a creator doesn't have to bring an audience first.
Four revenue streams: subscriptions, courses, in-message sales and the brand channel. Creators keep 80% of gross revenue.
One post, seven networks
Socialog, built solo
You write a post once, pick your accounts and a time, and it goes out to X, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and Paragraph. An AI agent can schedule it too, over MCP.

A room that holds
Live-streaming platform
A live platform that goes down is simply off, in front of everyone, at once. Getting people to come only helps if the thing is still there when they arrive.
How I'd start
- Pick one niche I can reach. One group of people, somewhere I can talk to them this week.
- Make the first ten users by hand. I'd ask each of them personally and watch them use it.
- Measure before spending. Activation and week-one retention get instrumented before any money goes out.
- Make the product's output the marketing. Streams and clips for a live platform, a brand channel for a creator platform. With Socialog, one post goes out to seven networks.
- Build a loop before buying traffic. Each new user should bring in the next, through what they make or share.
- Then pay. Once people stay and bring others, paid traffic has something to scale.
- Keep what works and cut the rest. I'd check every week and stop whatever isn't bringing people back.
